Therapy for Women

Therapy for Women

How liberating it is to pursue wholeness and find freedom in being your authentic self.

The intricate process of womanhood is undeniably beautiful and complicated and what it means to be a woman is different for, well, each woman.

What does it mean to you to be a woman?
How would you describe what it’s like to be a woman?
What does it even mean to you to be a woman?

Does this sound familiar

-You define yourself by what you do and how well you do it, rather than by who you are at your core?

-You’re not even sure who you are without the roles that you play and the people that you take care of.

Better Together

Why Therapy for Women?

Therapy for Women means that the focus is on what it means to be a woman, not on the issues or symptoms that might bring her in.  Rather than focusing on the symptoms or issue, I focus on you, the person, the woman. Our work is to help you reconnect to your authentic self and integrate the fullness of what it means to be a woman without sacrificing your core values, losing your health or faith or ignoring your heart and soul.  I am here to help you remember who you are.

Therapy helps you to get deeply curious about yourself and helps you gain clarity about who you are and what you desire.

How You Can Benefit from Women’s Therapy

In our work together, you will:

* Learn to express yourself in ways that nourish you rather than deplete you.

* Discover your own beliefs about what it means to be a woman and learn how to show up for yourself and others from your core values.

* Learn ways to nurture and truly trust yourself.

* Set and maintain healthy boundaries, overcome self destructive thoughts and behaviors.

* Make changes that lead to increased self worth, increased energy and greater self worth and confidence.

In essence, you will learn to let go of who you think you should be and embrace who you really are.  That’s what will being you alive.  My approach is feminist-holistic integrating all aspects of a you, the woman.  Utilizing your beliefs and thoughts with conversation, addressing the physical body through yoga, sacred pilates and somatic experiencing and energy work (Reiki) in my approach.

Returning to My Senses

Returning to My Senses

Many of you have experienced this dramatic change in myself upfront and personal and for many of you it has been a more distant looking in awareness. I want you to know I see you too. As I have matured and grown as a person and therapist, I have intimately experienced the change and difference that can happen in our healing and recovery when we involve ALL aspects of our being.
