Energy Healing: How Reiki Empowers Women

Women come to see feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Often the givers in their relationships they come to me feeling guilty for not giving even more and confused as to why they feel so unfulfilled. They’ve believed that this way of being would bring them satisfaction and purpose and instead these successful, creative, dedicated and committed women are depleted and on the verge of collapse.

Reiki is known as the life-energy that flows through all living beings

Praised for being over-achievers and over-givers has led women away from her natural inner awareness to focus on external expectations. These beliefs, imposed on women by society, have led us away from using our bodies as guides to navigate us through our lives. Reiki offers an opportunity to ground yourself and return you to a sense of balance and ease.

Energy work like Reiki and the Chakra’s can help women feel centered and refocused as their mind, body and emotions are returned to balance. Reiki is a type of energy healing. Stagnant and trapped energy affects women’s moods, cycles and her natural rhythm and intuition. Reiki helps to recharge the natural energy centers and empowers a body to maintain energy and balance. Reiki helps promote relaxation, reduce pain, speed healing and promotes a more balanced energetic system.

Reiki for Gentle Healing

Healing is a whole body process. Healing comes when we do more than just talk about it. It’s physical, mental, emotional, and it’s energetic. If you have old wounds or insecurities that need healing and you’re ready to release and heal, I’d be happy to help you. I’ve done deep work myself and with the women I am so honored to help – the deep work that roots itself in unshakable compassion and grace. I’m passionate about helping women give themselves permission to receive rather than always give, to hone their intuition and know they can trust and be guided by it, silence the internal shoulds of society and connect with her divine feminine at the core of who she is – to live out the wild spirit she so naturally is.

What does a Reiki Session Look Like

I like to begin my Reiki sessions with an intention or guided meditation to allow for greater awareness and presence. We could be sitting in front of one another or I might be on your side or you might enjoy lying flat on the Reiki table. As I move my hands across the energy field of your body the universal energy of ‘chi’ is transferred through my palms to encourage emotional and energetic healing. At the end, we will spend some time talking about what they observed and noticed about your experience. I might report on any chakra energy I have felt during the session and give some guidance on how to continue working on these areas as part of your overall therapeutic experience with me.

During the reiki session, women often report feeling sensations like warmth or coolness, to pulsating or a knowing that energy is being released. Each person is carrying their own traumas, emotions, experience, beliefs and habitual patterns differently in her body. Reiki can vary from women to woman but she can expect to leave feeling more aware of her boy, more connected to herSelf and with an overall sense of relaxation and wellbeing.

I am a Master Level Reiki practitioner. I was trained at Wild Spirit Yoga in Tomball Tx by Jennifer Carmack. I believe true healing comes from more than talk therapy alone. Insight is not enough there must also be an energetic shift that occurs for recovery and healing to be whole and complete. Reiki compliments my passion as a therapist in helping women become empowered by helping them learn to ground themselves becoming ever more present in her body and capable of listening to her body’s needs.

HSP’s & Radical Self Love

Nothing is more powerful than the act of turning your Love inward, toward yourself.

Highly Sensitive people are the most human of all humans. Feeling more deeply, sensing more intensely and taking longer to process takes a toll on our nervous systems causing us to feel overwhelmed. Being more sensitive means we are more affected by the feelings we have, making it more difficult to have the energy or feel the worth it requires to care for ourselves.

Hello Loves and Happy Autumn! Cooler mornings and earlier sunsets are showing us that change is in the air. The longer shadows and the thinner air might bring with it a strange sense of nostalgia and a familiar yet strange kind of loneliness. Change is more than the physical differences that are happening, it affects us on a cellular level.
